Drivers door lock will not unlock or lock from inside.
 

2002 Honda Civic EX

Has power door locks and remote transmitter.

Remote transmitter locks and unlocks the car fine.

Key locks and unlocks the car fine.

The inside door panel switch will not lock or unlock the door (it has once,thats it)

The manual lock slide switch only slides halfway down, never actually locking the door?

If anyone has seen this issue before please let me know.

Silly question but I've seen it before. Do you have the door open when you are trying to use the inside switch and push it down? If so its a anti lock out feature.

No this is while I'm inside the car while the door shut

Sounds electrical to me then. Could be a bad switch or connector.

if i were you i would take off the door panel and make sure everything is correct. could be something as simple as the connector to your power locks not being plugged all the way in.
