LS head build
tell me what u think or what i can improve
its a p75 head gonna run stock valves with stage 2 crower springs and retainers with crower 403 all motor cams gonna port match the head to the gaskets so maybe a 1/16 of an inch port maybe lil more a then polish it them polish the intake many run obd1 injectors and aem fuel rail and regulater ganna run it on s300 hondata with a tune just looking for opinion let me know what u think :thumbup: |

im building an other block everything stock except ganna run p30 pistons for high compression
i know a stock block with a good tune can high rev at 8500 im planing on running that with the hondata and a good tune |

i know a stock block with a good tune can high rev at 8500 im planing on running that with the hondata and a good tune i used rs machine pistons on one of my old allmotor builds (all motor b17) and they were great. never had a problem with them and they were the p30 pistons also at 81.5mm bore...i used them for just a little more than a year before i sold the car. i plan on using rs machine pistons on my b20vtec build. |

i dont understand why this is in the force induction forum
if the non vtec head is anything like the vtec head, its not recommended to run stage 2 cams or in some case stage 1 cams on a stock valve train. do you think that valve train can take the revs up to 8500 with bigger cams? get rid of the horrid block guard, its not going to do any good for you...at all. |

An ya. I know. The.valves can run all stock turbo with a good tune. pushing 8500 rpm
but that what's the valve springs.and.retainers.are.for. to back up the.valves so I doing.visit a.valve |

8500 is pretty risky with the way the rockers are designed on the non vtec heads. I would keep it below 8k.
Browse over to the all motor forum and check out some of the non vtec threads and the p8r thread. There is some good tech buried in them. |

What is your power goal? That piece of information is step one.
I could list a number of things that you could improve if your looking to make 800WHP but that list would be different if you're only looking to make 250WHP. |

Is this a damn turbo build or all motor?
If its all motor you will never make anywhere close to 250 whp unless you spend mega dollars on a B series or do a k swap. Even the set up you are talking about, if its going to be an all motor b18b, will be a slow turd with itr pistons and a cammed LS head. You be getting your ass handed to you by stock block boosted single cams, so why bother? Do some more research and figure out what's even worth doing, then ask questions. |

To most people, the money necessary to make all motor power on a D series engine just isn't worth it when boosting a D series can be done cheaper. Knowing simple economics of making power is knowing ones shit.
