Is 1/2 inch of throw on slave cylinder enough? my clutch is dragging

My clutch is dragging and I want to make sure its not a hydraulic issue before i replace the clutch. I replaced the slave last night its still dragging and hard to get into gear when stopped. My slave travels 1/2 inch total from when the pedal is completely up to completely floored. If it should be more like an inch, I will replace the master. Thanks

Its bled, there are no leaks, and the clutch is original. 220 k. No slipping catches strong.

Adjust clutch pedal to increase its travel. Have somebody watch the slave cylinder while you kick it from inside to see how much travel the push rod makes. Try to move the fork by hand to see it has more play in it. Usually the fork's pivot point gets damaged causing excessive play.

yeah travel should be around 3/4", look under the dash at the clutch master cylinder look at its rubber boot area check that for leaks if it looks dry... make sure you have the clutch bled good, the best ways is with 2 people. and if your problem still remains i would think that the flywheel or clutch disc may be warped, causing it to not want to completely disengage
