help with oil control orifice!

I have a B18c1 engine. I know there is an oil control orifice on the block, which I know I have on, but I'm worried about if there is one in the center of the head because Im not sure if its there or not? Ive been driving my car for about 2 months and just came across info on it today which is friday the 13th!! Is it possible to be driving this long w/o that orifice on the head? What exactly would happen if I didn't have it?? Help me out HT!

You mean the O-Ring was not placed in the orifice and what will the damage be?

Are you talking about this?

Yes sir that is what Im asking about. Is it just an o ring there or is there something underneath it as well? I had it hot tanked and Im not sure if its there or not when I installed it. What are the damages? Oil starvation in the head? Should this be an immediate fix?

Yes it's just an O-ring. Yes fix it. Your cylinder head is fine, this probably feeds the LMA.

Oh good. Appreciate the help bud.
Btw, do you know a way to install this o ring w/o taking off the cam rail, caps and my timing belt?

Re: help with oil control orifice!

You'll have to pull off the LMA and the cap for those particular lobes. You don't need to take out the cams or Timing belt

Sorry to say you have to pull the 24 of the 28 cam cap bolts out of the cam lobe oiling rail but the only cap you have to pull is the middle one

Search online and download a manual for your accord and check. This thread is pretty old... My guess is it does need the o-ring
