91 accord blinking S light

Hi everyone. So I just had posted about an overheating problem I was having, and thanks to everyone on here it seems to be fixed. After fixing and driving the car for about 30 miles, a new problem arose.

The S light on the instrument cluster now blinks when the car is started. The car is also very underpowered. Like 50% power. My research tells me that the blinking S light means that the transmission is in "Safe Mode" and restricts power down.

Is there any way to determine why the transmission went into safe mode? Like reading some sort of code or something?

Any help is appreciated, thanks

Dig out the blue two wire connector, jump it, turn car to ON, record code, find out what code you have. Then go to the H4A link in my sig.

Ah yes, Thank you Mad Mike for the info. I actually found that website right after I posted the original thread. Using that info and various other info Ive found on the web Im 99% convinced that the problem is the Main Relay.

Thanks for the info, its always nice to have information confirmed as being reliable.
