A/C Compressor Clutch Engaged All The Time??? HELP!
Alright guys so i bought this car used, ac never worked neighter did the fans, so i replaced the ac compressor with a new one, filled the refrigerant and is at 30-35psi which is right where it should be, both fans automatically kicked on while filling it, and ac compressor engaged, nice cold air inside the car, i press the ac button off and turn the heat on, but my ac compressor clutch is still engaged? ir does not shut off, and my fans costantly are running unless i take out the keys., checked the fuses and their good, any ideas would be greatly appreciated this is a 2006 Civic Dx Coupe Manual.
P.S. if i unplug the ac compressor, my rad fan never goes on and car never over heats. |

Is it set on defrost? The compressor turns the ac on automatically if it is, even if the button is not lit on the ac button.

Nope not set on defrost, just set on the front vents, tried even on feet still Ac compressor is on, and usually a Ac compressor should go on and then shut off every 20seconds or so mine is constantly on |

Any other ideas guys? Is it safe to drive it like this without doing any harm to the Ac compressor?

Did you charge it yourself with a retail kit?
If it is always engaged there is a good chance it is overcharged. |

Is it overfilled? That can cause it to run more I think.
