2004 Honda Civic Engine shutting down
 

Hi Gents,

I have a problem with my 2004 Civic, after a drive with a bit of high acceleration (some 4000 rpm) during the 1st and 2nd gear (my car is auto) due to im in a hurry that time, after some time in the high way the check engine lights up and the engine shuts down, I stopped my car and turn off the key and then try to start it again, it runs normal at first and when i reached 90kph again check engine lights up and engine shuts down. I tried to start it but same thing happened. Please help...any advice what to check....:cry:

Get the Check Engine Light code scanned at either the Honda dealership, or borrow a scanner for free from AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts.
