Salvage title 07 si
 
I seen alot of salvage title si on the market and at the moment this is the only price range I can afford would u guys ever buy a salvage si? What are things I should look for when test driving one?

Depends on what's wrong with the car. If it has a minor accident or the frame is not bent, then yes ill buy it. If its a theft recovery depends on what's missing.

If you can take it for a drive, have a body shop look at it. Also know they don't hold as much book value salvaged, but if you plan on keeping it for a long time, that won't even matter. Good luck

Well being that I work at a body shop and see some of the amazing stuff these guys can do I would say have it inspected at a facility of your choice. Find out what was wrong with it and inspect for any damage that may still be there.

I bought my '08 Si from a salvage auction, it was hit in the front. I drove it for almost 3 years after repairing it, and I had zero issues with it. As long as it was repaired properly, a salvage titled car shouldn't be any different from one with a clean title. Get it inspected by a shop that you trust, but you should do that with any car you buy anyway.
