It's all in the dizzy! Check your ECU type too ... That makes it easy

the valve cover is OBD2, if the motor has a vin number on it, its OBD2.

B18b1 was only made in OBD1 and 2, not 0

the dizzy and ECU can all be changed to work with the motor. You can have a motor from the 96+ (obd2) cars and be running obd1 or obd0

If you are asking if your car is set up to be OBD0,1, or 2, then check the ECU.

how can i tell on the ecu... the ecu is a pr4

you realize b18a and b18b have the same internals, you can convert up and down between obd0 thru obd2.
its all in the wiring and ecu that you use.

i have a b18a1. no sure what obd it uses but i could just use a obd1 harness and and ecu and it'll all work out?

You would need an OBD1 Dizzy and ECU, as well as the ECU jumper harness if you choose to use one.
