Re: 5 Lug Conversion ?
You will want a swap from either 98+ CTR or any US ITR. The JDM ITR 5-lug has different/larger axle splines in the front. You would have to change your outer CV joints to use them (or swap out to the US hubs and get new wheel bearings).
Given the same offset of rim, the conversion will push each wheel out by 5mm in the back and 7.5mm in the front. Other than that, it should bolt on I think. http://a1.img.mobypicture.com/753c83...4eb87_view.jpg |

5 lug normally goes for around $1000 Why the hell would ever spend 2500-3k for 5 lug?! That is just stupid. |
Re: 5 Lug Conversion ?
And wheels for half that.

Re: 5 Lug Conversion ?
I had the chance to buy 5 lug, with ctr wheels for 1050. Brand new tires, pads, rotos, front wheel bearings.

Re: 5 Lug Conversion ?
You could have fixed the issues and still be left with money in your pocket. but, to each his own.
I do know you mean though, I bought 99 SI breaks, and dumb ass me didn't check the calipers. Low and behold, all 4 are frozen, and front bearings are shot. I knew better, and still didn't look. :ugh: Even then, I only paid 250, for EVERYTHING under the car, and sold some stuff to be at about $150-175 in it total. The front sway bar/lcas are worth that. :) |

Re: 5 Lug Conversion ?
If you are really that concerned, do what I did. Buy a bushing kit, press it in, replace the rotors, good to go. No reason/need to spend 3g's on that. That's crazy
