Alternator sp sensor fuse keeps blowing 7.5Fuse (Honda Civic LX 98)
 

My honda civic lx 98 keeps dying and alternator fuse (7.5) keeps blowing nothing else blows besides that one fuse what im thinking is a short (but where should i look) or a new Fuse Box?Any input will be helpful!

Before i do this i had a short the other day when installing my amp and burnt the wires (remote wire that connects to amp-cigarette lighter) but all the other fuses was good and in fact the fuse didn't blow out it self did i damage the Fuse Box or should i still follow the direction about fuse 15?

Buy a new fuse box?

Check, tape, and cover the wires near the C115 connector as detailed in the TSB.

So the short i had couldn't do anything with the fusebox being broken? & Ill check the C115 Connector ASAP

Whoa, how did you wire the amp???

Did you go the battery direct?

Did you fuse the power wire about 16 inches from the battery?

Access the C115 connector and wires from below the car.

Nope i had a wiring kit everything was installed fine until i got a new sub and the remote wire kept blowing out my fuses!

I did this today and seems to work now wired up all the wires and new fuse!

When you looked at the wires, were any broken or insulation torn?

Nope! the electrical tape was just worn out so i took it off and applied new one

Just had same problem and it was the down stream 02 sensor plug to the car hitting body had split wire shorting out

👍🏽i had the same issue it was the O2 sensor i guess i shorted a wire when i was messing with my cat.
