axle issues right side crx
 

hey guys i just picked up a jdm crx sir b16a and it has 90 integra intermediate shaft and axle on the left side and on the right hand side it has the 90 integra axle aswell but its clicking only under harsh left hand cornering possible that its the wrong lenght and i was told to use the 89 integra shaft but the 90 cup where it goes in to the trans ????? just wanna fix the issue

new or used axles?? your intermediate shaft should be from a manual transmission and stamped 'SK7'
if that's ok, check your engine mounts and get new axles.

both axles are brand new and the intermediate shaft came from my usdm 90 rs 5 speed turning right i have no issues and just left then the suspension compresses down and only does it when i do harsh cornering like if i was to do auto x and the guy i purchaed the car from claims that the 89 integra axles are 1/2 inch shorter as this one is maxing out its travel

did you remove the dust rings from the knuckles? did you get an alignment?

i did not personaly but i have the receipts for it

the dust rings will cause binding. you can probably see them without taking everything apart

i will have a look at it tonight for the dust ring..... but i did a search and the guy i got the car from made a post about this in 2008 same issues as it still has
and i was told that the inner and shaft from a 89 integra is what i need aparently its shorter ?

i would not use the 89 integra shaft...that's not correct. can you link us to his post from 2008?
