Hey guys how's life going with you and with your civics ? :)
i hope its alll good .
i just swapped a new b16a sir 1994 automatic transmission gearbox in my eg sedan civic .
in the first run i surprised because the engine is much like the D16a9 one .
the performance of my b16a engine is completely different from any other b16a because its gearbox is automatic not manual transmission .and im sure that the vtec is engaging .

how can i increase the hp and the trq in the piece of shit ?? :)

Get rid of the POS power robbing, slow shifting, heavier than a manual tranny slushbox, LOL

I swapped a B20 with an auto tranny into a civic one time and felt the same way. SLOOOOW...Felt just a tad quicker than the stock engine...A week later, it got a manual conversion.

Finally we deduced that we have to convert the auto tranny to a manual one before doin' any modifications on my engine to get the max power of the engine then i can change the cam gears , system exhaust,headers. :)

Daily driver/track car?

How much HP do you want???

Trust us. You're doing the right thing by converting to a manual.
Our Honda auto transmissions suck. Ask just about any Oddysey, Accord V6, acura TL owner that has a decent amount of mileage,

my budget is about 1200 $
its my daily ride :)

i want to improve my hp as much i can get without wrecking my engine :)

Start with a manual conversion and seehow much you have left. This is the first and foremost mod I think everyone will agree on...
Then see if you wanna spend more and go a little faster..
Pay to play is the name of the game...
BTW- This should really be inthe tech/ civic forum..Not the all motor forum...

Search around there and do some heavy reading...To much to explain here.
