Power steering high pressure feed hose

I think my 03V6 has a leaky high pressure feed hose. It doesn't look easy to change, so anyone have some tips, video, how-to with pics? Feeding the pipe through the rear mount looks like the most challenging part.

IIRC, there is a Honda TSB on changing the power steering pressure hose on your car. I'll see if I can find it, or you may be able to find it too with an internet search.

That would be great. I tried an internet search, and didn't really come up with anything.

So far I only found the TSB regarding the TSX hose recall.

If I find the TSB for the Accord I'll post it. I do seem to remember seeing it before.

Re: Power steering high pressure feed hose

I've just had that hose replaced on my 2004 Accord (V6-MT w/92K miles). I see that the recall for that hose only applies to several Acura models (and Accords sold in Australia). Is there any indication that the recall might be expanded to include my model? I was charged nearly $600 (parts and labor). According to the PDF for the Acura (many thanks), that job should take less than an hour. Maybe my model is tougher due to some clearance issues.

I changed the hose myself. It wasn't that hard to do, but the service manual isn't much help. The hardest part, is getting the metal part through the engine mount, without kinking it, and the manual says nothing about that. The line can be bowed (carefully) to get it through the mount. Tape the end of the tubing, to protect it from damage and grime while feeding it through the mount. Bought a 14mm line wrench, just to do this job, so there would be less chance of rounding off the flare-nut.
