Electrical issues - reverse lights stay on

I have electrical issues with my car. 00 civic ex manual, when i turn on my headlights, my reverse lights come on and stay on. ive been pulled over for this.

and my ebrake, srs, lights stay on constently. I tried checking the ebrake switch to see if it was stuck. and it wasnt, its just fine. I checked all the fuses and they are good.

Also my left turn signal blinks very very very dim, to the point were you cant even really see it unless your right up to the car. i also have replace the bulb with two different sets. still blinks dim and fast.

any help would be nice thanks

Check for a bad ground connection in the year and whether the brake fluid level in the reservoir is low.

The FAQs sticky has diagrams showing how to pull and clear SRS codes.

Re: Electrical issues - reverse lights stay on

I fixed the ebrake light. It so happens it must have been warning me that my brakes were messed up. After the fact that my brake calipers flew off while i was driving, due to not having it tightened the last time i changed brakes. had it towed and fixed cause it wasnt drivable with no brakes.

I still dont understand the reason why my tail lights are being on while i turn on my headlights. Ill look into that today while i have my brother bring his civic over and ill look to see if the wiring is the same.

Follow the reverse lights wire, its probably wired up to one of your brake lights. Reverse lights and brake lights also could be switched around in the wrong area.
