Car misfires at high-RPMs.

My car was recently misfiring all of the time, regardless of how I was driving it.
(2001 Acura Integra LS Coupe/3dr/Hatchback/NOTEC)

So, I bought new spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor.
My car was driving perfectly fine until about 2 weeks after buying the cap and rotor button and now it misfires until the engine is highly warmed up (about 20 consecutive minutes of driving at 60+MPH, then it will stop misfiring) and at high RPMs but only in 3rd+ gear.

For example, I can run it to 7k in first, 7k in 2nd and then about 5.5k in 3rd and the misfiring begins and it is HORRIBLE. I may make a video of it to better explain my situation, but it is multiple random misfires and so hard that it throws my aftermarket radio out of its holding place. :thud:

However, before driving on the highway/interstate (at the speed limit, so either 60MPH or 75MPH respectively) for a good 15-20 minutes, then it misfires just riding in 5th gear around 2.8-3.1K RPMs every 30 seconds or so.

I was told it could be my coil or coil wires going out.
What should I look into?

id try a coil first. if that doesnt fix it. try a dizzy. you can always take the coil you baught out and keep it cause they always go out. and keep it. coils always go out.

ha sounds familiar, this happen to me as well after 2 weeks from getting a new cap and rotor. It would misfire high rpms around 5500 and up. I open my cap and my rotor was loose the bolt came loose I tightened it took it for a test and it was all good now. you should check that out.

Hopefully this is my problem. Going to check it later and I'll take a look.
