Which Head should i use. ITR/CTR stock vs. B16 worked

ok guys so i recently bent a few valves in my stock b16 head so i am on the look out for another, more powerful, b16 head.. so far i cme across two sweet deals but not to sure what to choose.

Pr3-4 casting
itr/ctr internals
stock b16 intake manifold and fuel rail. $400 from a local

VS.

Pr3-3 casting
B16 head
Blox Intake manifold (identical to ITR manifold)
Rocket Motorsports Dual Valve Springs and Titanium Retainers
Supertech Black nitrate Coated Valves
ITR/CTR cams
3 angle valve job
golden eagle fuel rail
type r throttle body $600

i thought the second pr3-3 casting head would pu out more horses on my b16 block. which one do you guys think s more powerful?

the second choice hands down. its a good deal. i could take that stuff and make about $1000 off of it. second choice 100%. u want those cams

I'd go wid the 2nd choice. It's totally worth it. Only $200 more n u get better parts

The second one. The ITR/CTR heads only have a very mild port job. I'd look into those titanium retainers though. Some are known to be soft and meant for racing only. Fine for their intended purpose, but not durable for a DD.

thanks guys... now how about

second choice

vs.

b16 head
Ported and polished
3 angle valve job
supertech valves, springs, and retainers
gsr cams? $500
stock intake, fuel rail, injectors

Does the port job really out weigh the second choice? Would the port job in this head really make a big difference?

P.S. (NotAJDMFanBoy) looked into it and yeah they are racing retainers.. guy had the head on his gsr boosted and pulled 10k revs

I would go with the ported and polished head with the supertech setup but I would def have it checked out by a machine shop and flowbenched if you can find someone to do that for you.

the ported will make more power if it is a good port job. and you can always find a used blox intake manifold for dirt cheap.

yeh def go with second choice pr3-3. If they ported that other head too much, it will hurt performance for sure(might be too much for ur application) + it needs valve stem seals(easy fix but y deal)
