Quick help needed: f22b firing order

Can anyone here help me with f22b sohc vtec's firing order/plug wire order?

Also i want to know what problem i will have if i will connect Injector 1 to the wire going to injector 4 on the ECU?

I also want to know how does f22b determines firing order?

Will appreciate quick answers here as tomorrow early morning i have to troubleshoot my car and deliver it (as its sold)

Here's my F22B2 - (not a VTEC, but I'd be surprised if that made a diff in the firing order or plug wire routing):

Re: Quick help needed: f22b firing order

Thank you so much guys. i'm currently using a d16 dizzy which i assume has a different firing order, so i'm suspecting this is the reason for my missing issue.
I'm going to get another one tomorrow from a local junkyard and see (i wish :D) this problem goes away

can anyone please answer:
1. Also i want to know what problem i will have if i will connect Injector 1 to the wire going to injector 4 on the ECU?

2. I also want to know how does f22b determines firing order?

1. You may get a trouble code 16, a problem in fuel injector circuit. Also, there won't be enough current being supplied to injector 1 and 4 if they are both sharing the same circuit, as the injector resistor limits current for each injector. The car will probably run like crap too.

2. The ECU determines firing order.

Re: Quick help needed: f22b firing order

^^ Thanks redbull :)

how do i know which f22b i have? my block is only stamped f22b (no number beside f22b) its a black top and currently i'm using a d16 dizzy 30100-P1K-E01 dizzy with it. i'm having serious misfire issue, idle is not stable at all. seems like plug 1 is not working. compression is good and so are the valves etc. i've checked everything including head, gasket, compression, piston play etc. but problem still seems to be there.

do you think d16 dizzy (30100-P1K-E01) could be the reason? my plug wires are connected as per the pic you've shown above (on top, labeled as f22b1 engine)

Re: Quick help needed: f22b firing order

JDM F22B SOHC VTEC = USDM F22B1
JDM F22B SOHC Non-VTEC = USDM F22B2
JDM F22B DOHC Non-VTEC = No USDM counterpart

^^ then this means my plug wires are connected in the right manner but using d16 P1K dizzy, can this contribute to my missing issue?

is CKP, TDC coil etc sensor which are integrated in honda dizzy are different?

Re: Quick help needed: f22b firing order

I would say the D16 distributor is your problem.

The F22B1 and D16 mating grooves in the cam & distributor are 90° off. The mating groove of the D16 at top dead center is vertical ( | ) while the mating groove of the F22B @ TDC is horizontal ( - ). Changing to a SOHC F22B VTEC distributor should solve your misfire/missing idle issue.

Re: Quick help needed: f22b firing order

do i need to get the P0A dizzy or is there any other dizzy which you think should work?

Re: Quick help needed: f22b firing order

I would suggest picking up the P0A...... I'm not aware of any other distributor that would be plug-n-play.
