Re: Wiring question

Workshop manual will have wiring diagrams.

If you could be a bit more specific I'm sure someone here could post a wiring diagram.

Exact year/make/model as is coupe/sedan/hatch and CX/DX/VX/EX/LX/Si would help.

Was the car originally sold in the US or Canada? Their wiring diagrams differ.

Headlights?

Tail lights?

Turn signal lights?

Dash lights?

I mean ultimately a Helm manual and/or electrical troubleshooting manual will be the ultimate resource for wiring diagrams, but some of us here have access and can post some good ones too.

Help us help you.

Re: Where can I get a wiring diagram for a 95 civic?

well what im doing is connecting my gauges to my head lights, so everytime i turn my headlights on my gauges will turn on as well.. its a 95 civic si so the diagram provided by b18c5 should be enough im assuming?

im going to connect it to the Low beam cause thats what i use to turn on my HIDS.. but judging by this pic it looks like im going to splice into the RED/WHT wire.

Right?

By gauges, do you mean the actual gauges or the gauge/cluster back lights?

dont do any wire splicing youll probably mess up the wiring in the long run. just go under the dash to the fuse panel and wedge a little piece of power wire into the fuse that controls the headlights and then ground the gauge. that way you dont cut any wires.

The problem has been fixed boys
i spliced in to the RED/WHITE wire and soldered the connection and taped it up
and it works like a beauty when i turn the car on ;)
thx for all your help!

You know they're actually pretty cheap, I bought the '93 ETM online for like $25 a while back.

Yeah, I only paid 8 or 10 for mine (1994), but I'm saying if he has the ETM scanned already then it could really help folks out if that info was posted!
