Best clutch for h22a?
I know this is going start a war but I was looking for some opinions. I need a new clutch and I have had good experience with ACT and Clutch Masters in the past on my different motors. I'm looking for something in the stage 4 area, racing clutch strenght but still driveable on the street. Any opinion are appreciated. http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: Best clutch for h22a? (Alstare)
RPS, Clutch Masters, Exedy are the only companies that I trust. I actually have a CM stage 3 for sale if you're looking for one for a H22, H23 or the F series.

Exedy
its what i have in my '99 prelude; no problems so far and livable pedal pressure and bite; bought: pressure plate, clutch, and t/o bearing all for under $100, $96.50 to be exct. call these guys if your interested:

Re: Exedy (bb6h22a)
hey bb6h22a, did you buy and Exedy or ACT?? That's a really good price that you got your clutch for. Was it brand new??

Re: Exedy (Honda Sport)
i have a act 6-puck on mine, i love it.

Re: Exedy (Honda Sport)
I bought an Exedy clutch, it was the OEM replacement type. Yes, it was BRAND NEW, unlike the remanufactured ACT/CM pieces; also, while I was at it, I installed a Fidanza 8lbs Al flywheel.

Re: Exedy (bb6h22a)
i'm running a ACT and its working great.... moderate pedal pressure... grabs great... no chattering...

Re: Exedy (preludeboy)
i'm using a centerforce dual friction, and i know some people don't like them, but too me it feels great, it grabs really good, and the pedal feel is soft, completely streetable...no chatter or anything like that! completely happy for a year and a half now!
