fuel pump does not turn on
i have a 97 gsr and it was working until one day i went to go start it and the brand new fuel pump wont prime.
i put the old one back in and it still wont prime ,checked all fuse and relays still nothing, then i ran a wire from the battery and it prime but engine still wont start???? now im stumped and need help all ready checked the main relay |

The main relay controls power to the ECU in addition to the fuel pump. Bad main relay = no fuel injection. |

Actually the PGM-FI Main Relay supplies power to the fuel pump, [fuel pump relay] the fuel injectors, [injector relay] and power to a few engine valve/solenoids and a 12V+ "signal" to the ECU/ECM, [injector relay] although the result is the same, "Bad main relay = no fuel injection"
