My 2000 Honda Accord Coupe keeps turning OFF
Hey everyone body i dont know if this has been posted already or not but I have a problem with my 00 accord 4cyl. The problem is that it sometimes turns off on me as soon as turn it on, never does it while driving or at a stop light or anything like that. And the problem usually never occurs in the winter just in summer for some reason. I would turn it on and in about 3 secs it just makes like a rattle noise as if its coughing and it turns off ( But sometimes it doesn't happen for weeks and randomly it starts again). So i replaced the fuel pump and it still happens sometimes. Now i was thinking it might be the exhaust or something but i doubt that. I change the oil regularly and keep it clean. The check engine light has never came on. But the guy i bought the car from about 2years ago had it sitting outside for about a good year or 2..not turned on or anything, maybe water got into the motor or something but i am clueless. What do you guys think it might be?? Thanks for all the help :D
