Install amp to stock headunit?

I recently got ahold of a rockford fosgate punch P325.2. Only issue is i dont have an aftermarket deck. Don't currently have the money for one.

Basically im wondering if there is inputs on the back of a '97 Civic headunit that i can just plug into the amp with. I dont have the time to look at it, not until next week and just looking for quick answer.

If there isnt, what do i need to hook it up to my headunit, or to splice the amp from the back 2 speakers. Also, what guage wire should i use to run from the amp to my sub? (first time doing car stereo stuff)

you are going to need to purchase a line out converter, such as this one http://www.crutchfield.com/p_142LOC8...0.html?tp=2001, and then purchase an amp kit of some sorts. you will need to tap the line out converter into your harnesses existing speaker wires, some say use the front chanels, i've used the rear channels, i'm sure some one else can chime in with more detail for this. then you'll need to find a source for the amplifier's remot turn on. some use the ignition, some factory decks have a "remote" style output for perhaps a power intenna or something.

Line out converter to the rear speaker wires and remote on from the switched 12V ignition would work. I used that setup before I got an aftermarket deck.

Thanks for the help, me and a friend worked on it today. Got it first try, had a little trouble with the players asking for a code, but lucky me, the person that had the car before just so happened to write the code onto the top of the deck
