Del Sol Door Handle!
 

I was wondering if the door handle on a 92/95 civic coupe will fit onto a del sol door? i believe they are the same design and same length?

im not sure
but i thought the del sol door handle was unique,
i tried the eg on my door but didn't fit
so i ordered a brand new one from the honda dealer,
got a discount on it and paid 46 for it

I doubt it. If it physically fit in the hole you might still have some issues with the mechanism since they open in different ways.

This is incorrect. All 5th Gen Civics / Del Sols share the same outer front door handle mechanism. Part Numbers are different due to different colours, but the functionality is the same. For those who would like to look this up, you will find some Del Sols that share the same p/n as a Civic 2/3/4dr. For example: 72140-SR3-J02ZD.

For some reason I thought del Sol door handles lifted up instead of forward.
