ECM/PCM Location?
I am trying to troubleshoot a no-start 1997 Civic CX (D16Y7). I'm thinking it might be an ignition issue so I'm going through the ICM input test per the factory service manual. It states:
"Disconnect the ECM/PCM connector A (32P)." Where is this thing? Any other troubleshooting clues would also be appreciated. So far I've tested the basic four components (fuel, spark, compression and timing). They all seem to exist but are probably not in the amounts needed to start the pup.:thud: Thanks! |

Re: ECM/PCM Location?
do you have a tach ? if you do and it doesn't move when cranking your igniter is more than likely bad. Have you checked for code's ??

Re: ECM/PCM Location?
I did replace the ICM but there was no change. The spark is definitely yellow/orange, is that a definitive symptom?
