What's the name of the part that holds the car hood up?

What's the name of the stand that holds the hood up? I'm missing the clip that keeps the stand in place. Thanks!

Don't you mean #13 STAY, HOOD OPENER? #24 holds the rod when not in use.

he said what is the thing called that holds the hood open......which is the hood prop. he wanted to know so he could buy the hood prop clip. which is what 24 is.
