Re: putting ac into a 98 ek coupe gsr swap
do you still have the gsr a/c bracket bolted on? if not go grab a vtec delsol a/c bracket or its much cheaper counter part the crv b20 a/c bracket. and find a 96-98 d series a/c compressor. unless you wanna use a gsr a/c compressor in which case a gsr bracket and compressor and lines is what you want.

OK i found a b20 ac bracket for 30 bucks. can i use a 97 auto d series ac comperssor?

and condenser from a 97 auto?
|
Re: putting ac into a 98 ek coupe gsr swap
yea you just need teh d series compressor lines now that go from the evaporator to the compressor and condensor.

alright just making sure the ac compressor and condensor were from a 97 civic auto were the same.

On mine, I retained the entire D-series A/C system with the B20 bracket. The D series compressor should bolt up to the B20 bracket and everything will line up like OEM. This is because, if you've ever seen a CRV, it uses a D-series compressor on a B-series engine. |
