96 HONDA ACCORD LX -O2 SENSOR PROBLEM
My check engine light came on, and i used my scanner and the code came up as: Sensor heater circuit malfunction bank 1 sensor 1.
Im looking to get this fixed and trying to buy the part online, but every place i look is giving me a different type of O2 sensor, so im not sure what to buy, or even where this sensor is located on the car. So if you can please help by telling me exactly what sensor to buy or even if i can repair this without buying a new one, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you |

It's your primary oxygen sensor. No. 6 in the image.
Is your car 2-door, 4-door, auto, manual? I want to make sure first, before I give you some part numbers. |
Re: 96 HONDA ACCORD LX -O2 SENSOR PROBLEM
I'd imagine any 4 wire honda accord sensor will work. What kinds did you come across?

Honda part number 36531-P0B-A01
Denso is OEM. I didn't find a difference for auto or manual. You can google that part number or this site carries some: http://www.oxygensensors.com/catalog.php?&pkey=1167454 |
