if it's anything like my 94' there should be a rod/bolt connected to the back of the clutch that runs through the firewall, on it should be a nut which is the locking nut, just loosen that then you should be able to turn the bolt, one way will make it catch faster and the other way will make it catch at the starting height for the clutch, the easiest way for me to work on it was have my window down lay on my back with my feet propped on the window seal and my head practically on the gas pedal

X3. Just remember to adjust the switches(Cruise Control switch if you have it, clutch interlock safety switch) accordingly after you make the pedal adjustment

Re: adjust clutch pedal

Fuel is done on the intake manifold. You have to loosen the nuts on the metal shaft and pull the metal part slightly towards the driver's side and tighten the nuts. Leave a little slack or your idle will be high. I did mine while the car was running.

it will allow your car to start, without the cluch switch adjusted the car doesnt read that the clutch is being pressed and will not start,as far as the cruise switch i believe it reads when the brake is pressed allowing cruise to be turned off when the brake is pressed. someone correct me if i am wrong

they should be under the dash near the top of the pedals.

Correct, however there is also a switch on the clutch pedal to disengage Cruise Control as well. So when driving with Cruise Control engaged you can either

A. Push the Brake Pedal to disengage cruise control or,

B. Push the clutch in to disengage cruise control.

The 2 clutch switches will be close to the foot pad of the clutch pedal screwed into a bracket with a locknut.

correct?

Yes and no, You won't need to adjust the cruise switch for the brake pedal since you didn't bother the pedal, you will have to most likely adjust the cruise switch for the clutch though.

In the following drawing you will see the Clutch Interlock Switch, Clutch Cruise Switch, Brake cruise switch marked as 17, 18, & 19.
