Re: sohc zc wiring/swap help

This is assuming you are staying obd0:

Just plug in the engine harness from your original Si motor, everything will plug in and drop the motor in. Do not use the one that is on the motor as you don't know what kind sub model it is from. The reason I say this is because the underdash harnesses plug in differently. Example, a Si engine harness will not plug into a DX underdash because the connector is different.

The SOHC ZC is the same as a d16a6, which is the stock motor for your car.

Yes the dizzy should fit on there. Just make sure all the mounting ears on it match up and you are good to go.

ok so this may be a stupid question but i guess i should just use the TB and IM off the old one since im gonna use that ecu and harness right? obd-0 for life right? heh seriously though is this the simplest way to go?

Re: sohc zc wiring/swap help

so i swapped out the intake manifold and throttle body. i wanted to use my old 90 si tranny. the engine came out of a 98. theres no bolt holes on the flywheel for my clutch. dont tell me i gotta use a hydro tranny.
