where to buy Gold Trunk trim for '97 EX
 
I've been looking around online and can't find the gold trim piece that mounts along the edge of the trunk line.
I called my dealer and he informed me that some company in CA bought out all the older model Honda gold trim pieces and he could get it at a cost of $47.00 :cry:

I think that price is CRAZY and was wondering if anyone here knew of this company in CA, or another source for this trim molding.

I also need the "EX" emblem in gold as well..

Oh yeah.. I already tried Ebay with no luck..

College Hill Honda ( www.collegehillshonda.com ) used to sell Gold Emblem kits as of several years ago, but since then has concentrated on OEM Honda accessories and go back no earlier than 1998
You might try either a Google or Bing search and see if you can scare up anything.

47.00$USD was about the going rate for that piece ........

really fine wet sand etc, then paint, an option for you?

Where do you fins gold plating in a spray cam?
Everyone sells an ugly gold metallic that looks like brass
