08 Accord: Cannot depress Calipers

I've had the same premature wear on the rear brakes that many others have posted about for the 08 Accord. Anyway, I went to change the pads this morning, but I cannot get the calipers to depress. They are fixed in the 'worn' position, I haven't been able to get them to open a bit. I have never experienced this problem on other vehicles so I'm wondering if there is some trick I don't know about on the Accord?

Update: I found the answer.

you need to have a tool that turns it in and compress it i think. If its anything like the gen7 there is a grove in the middle of the brake piston correct? Just turn it I think lefty loosy on it and it should retract back in.

turn it clockwise to get the piston to compress. special tool is used to make it easier but i just use a flathead screwdriver and just turn them in.
