GSR has bad engine mount, rear or transmission mount?

Is there a difference from the rear mount to the transmission mount? I need to take care of this asap! It vibrates and makes a noise that you can hear from inside the cabin. Noise is apparent from 3-4,300 RPM only and dissapears beyond 4,300 and below 3,000 RPM. It sounds like the header or piping but, I checked all bolts and brackets to ensure that everything is tight. There was a loose bracket and I thought it was the problem but, still wasn't it. Can anyone suggest any ideas? Oh, I can feel the vibration from my pedals and a bit from the shifter as well. It's just annoying, so please help fellas, thx in advance.

does it happen at startup idle?engine suppose to have vibration..if it shakes bad then thats different..your rpm seems pretty high.it can be bad motor mounts.

it does it wether it's cold or warm. Although, the vibration is more present when the ac is on. When it idles and I rev it up to 3-4,300 RPMs, it vibrates. In addition, if I hold it there, it gets annoying loud. During freeway drives, it's also apparent there as well. I'm guessing a loose bolt or another bracket rubbing against eachother to cause the vibration.....I'm just frustrated and I hope I get the irritating noise to dissappear.

What kind of mounts do you have?

What kind of header and exhaust?

Do you still have the heat shields under the car?

I had multiple rattling sounds from my GSR and it was the exhaust hitting the heat shields, and then the actual pipe in the header collector rattling around. This accured after two-stepping going open header.

Looks like we're having the same problem...

The car is completely stock. So yes, it still has the heat shields on. I'll try checking that and see if it's the heatshield creating the vibration noise.

And the engine sits still with no movements at all when I rev the engine from the throttle cable. So I'm sure it may not be the mounts.

It won't really move in nuetral.. When the car is in gear, and you accelerate the engine thrusts back.

Hmmm, maybe the mounts in the rear of the engine itself?I do notice that when I backup, the engine seems to make a noise or clunk sound everytime I let off the clutch.

Yeah, it is the engine mount. I drove it back and forth in my drive way with the hood open and noticed the engine rocking back and forth when I'm in gear. How hard is it to replace this on a scale 1-10?
