Armrest Delete. Yay or nay??

Just wondering why you like it or not? And how much do they go for?

I personally like the armrest. I had the armrest delete, never installed, and ended up selling it. They run $30-40.

I prefer keeping the armrest.

Re: Armrest Delete. Yay or nay??

no way once you have the arm rest you always want to rest your arm there and feels different without it. I drive my moms honda fit once in a while and hate not having an arm rest especially on the highway for long drives even in the city. You don't think about it how often you put your elbow there but trust me its frequently. This prompted me in a search for a jdm honda jazz/fit armrest.

Armrests are great. I had to source one for my car because it didn't come with one.

NAY! Even with JDM oem Recaros, I need center Armrest for storage.
It is still accessable to adjuster but I don't often need to readjust reclining position anyway.

Interesting....i have wanted the delete for sometime now simply bc i don't use the car for anything but the track. If anyone has one they would be interested in selling please let me know. Thx.

Re: Armrest Delete. Yay or nay??

I used to hate it once I put my JDM delete in... but now I'm used to it.

I miss not having the extra storage space... but now I'm just accustomed to not keeping so much junk in the car :)

Re: Armrest Delete. Yay or nay??

Race cars don't need an arm rest.

I hated my armrest because my elbow would hit it during shifts.. so I deleted it

Re: Armrest Delete. Yay or nay??

$20.....My prefrance is to leave the arm rest, but if you autox, drive short trips with lots of shifting , no armrest can be beneficial.

btw. I might have 1 or 2 of armrest deletes at home ($20 + shipping)

Re: Armrest Delete. Yay or nay??

I rarely drive the ITR so I got rid of the armrest. Plus when I was dating my GF at the time she use to always rest her arm on my armrest while I was driving. That shit annoyed the **** out of me. I never looked back since. It's a matter of preference really.

thats why i chunked mine.... it was nice to have for the storage but with little padding in it, it was just bothersome.... like long trips..... once i got rid of it, i noticed right away driving was much more comfortable...... since i gotz some long a$$ monkey arms...
i deff. liked gettin rid of it.....

Re: Armrest Delete. Yay or nay??

Yep with how low the ITR shifter is my arm would hit it when shifting with the race seats in so I took it out. That and I didn't want it to get stolen so I removed it and threw it in the safe.

I just got mine and aside from the cleaner look (imo), I am hoping that it will also solve the excess clutter problem haha.

i'd keep the armrest.

Re: Armrest Delete. Yay or nay??

jdm arm rest deletes were made to go with Recaros, they give more room since they get tight that arm rest region, gives the seats lil more breathing room.

or just personal preference.
