2001 Honda Civic Overheating
I need HELP!!! I have a 2001 Honda Civic EX and its Overheating....I checked the hoses and I replaced the radiator cap and its still getting HOT. I did notice that the radiator fan is not turning on, does anyone know what temp it comes on and if I should hear it come on. Someone told me that the relay switches go out, is this TRUE ???? I dont want to spend money on a new radiator if I dont have too...Does anyone have answers for me... Please HELP its my only mode of Transportation........:cry:

im assuming you checked the coolant level?

Yes, I checked the coolant level in both the radiator and reservior. When I turned my car off, the coolant was bubbling in the reservior.

No, would that cause the fan not to turn on?

If the thermostat isn't opening, then yes, the fans will not kick on.
