using tin foil to fix blown fuse...bad?

I have a 95 sedan and the 7.5A fuse for the heater keeps blowing. someone told me to wrap it in tin foil and put it back in. It worked, but now it smells like something burning in the car. I dont wanna ruin anything else so i took it out just in case. Is using foil for a fuse bad for the electrical system?

dude thats plain out STUPID!
fuses are to protect the electrical! when the amp gets above the "safety zone" it blows to prevent damage. using tin bypasses this and causes damage!
TAKE THAT SHIT OUT!

thats probably one of the worst things you can do. If its blowing theres a reason why and it needs to be fixed. The reason it smells like something burning is because something has a excessive load on it and is getting hot

well the fuse keeps blowing to protect u from damaging whatever has a short or is damaged. if u keep a continuos current when its overloading could cause ur car to catch on fire or atleast melt ur fusebox and believe me, its a ish to rewire ur box.!!
