Maintenance Required Light on 94 integra

hey i got a 94 integra stock LS, when i bought it it flashed the Maint Req'd light 11 times i think when i started it, now it just stays on, i havnt done an oil change in a bit, is this the problem, thanks

The ML will come on normally as mileage increases. It is just there to remind you have maintenance services done. If the CEL comes on..I would look into it further..

So how is it turned off? Mine is on as well.

Spoolbeast 12-14-2008 03:57 PM

under the panel on the driver side is a box with a green button turn car on and just hold the button down til it turns off

LoL, read the little Integra manual people.

It should of came with your car, if not find one, or download the Helms manual.

wow thanks alot guys, but just one quesition, where is this box with the green button ??! :)

StokelesS_g2 12-14-2008 09:32 PM

WTF?!

Go sit in your car, pretend you're gonna hot wire your car, feel under the plastic panels by your knees, you feel a box, you feel a square button. You got it!
Turn your key to the on position now, and press and hold the button until your maintenance light goes off.
Enjoy, it'll be back on in 3,000 miles or something like that.

It starts flashing every 7,500 miles.

4banger1986 12-15-2008 07:12 AM

there is a little green button under the drivers side dash like patrickgsr said it flashes every 7500 miles

I have a 1994 Integra RS with a B18B1. My Reset button was right under the ignition, and it was a blue button, square. really easy to find. Had to hold it for about 6 seconds, havnt seen my Maint light on since. Hope this helps for people confused with the green button.

hay guys mine come on while driving
but it's only on while i'm hitting bumps on the road
but if the road is smooth
then theres no light?

Re: Maintenance Required Light on 94 integra

Thats kinda strange if it comes on ONLY while driving and hitting bumps. Might have a shorting wire somewhere + maintenance time.
