UAX listed as the model on my Civic title?
I recently purchased a 1999 Honda Civic EX from an individual. When I received the title, the model is listed as UAX. I called the Honda dealership and they didn't know what it was. I called the title office and they didn't know either. Does anyone know why it says UAX instead of EX, and is this a problem I need to correct?

Re: UAX listed as the model on my Civic title?
An old thread, but I don't see any answers. Maybe someone else has a better idea or a confirmation.
A quick Google search shows this is fairly common. There's also some titles that apparently say UCS. It seems this is just a code that some states and provinces use to denote a Civic. Seems it's almost always a Civic EX coupe for the UAX code. I've never seen any mention of it in Honda literature. Mine is that way because it is a salvage title.
