red fluid leaking

last night i ran over a brick in the middle of the road while driving home. My car would not drive when I rev at the traffic light. I saw red fluid leaking near my passager side. I had to call my friends to push it to my cousin house. Lucky i was down the street from his house. does anyone think it could be my tranny?btw my tranny is auto. Will i need to buy tranny? im pretty tired of this car also

yeah, red fluid is tranny fluid.

try jacking up the car and check underneath to see exactly where the brick hit your tranny.

Sounds like you cracked your case.

yep, ATF is red, if your tired of the car you can just sell it, or you may get more money if you fix it, it could be as simple as the under cover... jack it up and take a look.

if its just the cover you may be able to pick up one at a junkyard. if not, you may be able to find an auto tranny pretty cheap (since noone wants them and does a 5 speed swap) and have a shop put it in.
