1990 Honda accord ex will not start.
The car was running fine, Went to start next day. Engine would turn over but not start. Has a new Battery. Pulled Master relay from under dash. resoldered all points. I can her it click when I turn the key. Also can hear the Fuel pump hum when I turn the key. Any other Ideas or suggestion. Will the Master relay still click if it is bad. Could the coil have gone out while the car was parked overnight. Never had a problem with it starting ever.

Does it crank but not turn over?

Check for 12V at the black/yellow stripe wire at the dist. with the key on.
That will prove if power is going thru the ignition switch. Pull a plug wire off the dist and hold it about a 1/4" away from the connection while some one cranks the engine. This checks for spark. How old are the spark plugs? How old is the T-belt? If you live in the salt zone be sure the ground at the T-stat is clean and tight. |

The T belt is about a year old. The engine turns over just won't start. I pulled a plug wire off the distributor and did not see a spark while it was being cranked. Could this be the distributor?
