Re: aftermarket TSX fog lights? (Boosted_F22B)
don't get the ebay ones because the wirings will not work without modification.
buy it from passwordjdm http://passwordjdm.com/Passwor....aspx |
Re: aftermarket TSX fog lights? (HDNBenjamin)
Those fogs on the password JDM site are really nice. Besides the wiring issues, are there any differences between the password JDM ones and the ebay fogs?

Re: aftermarket TSX fog lights? (Boosted_F22B)

Re: aftermarket TSX fog lights? (evertp1)
thanks alot for that adobe link, great install guide. i'm not really worried about the wiring. if the wiring is wrong on the cheaper ebay lights i can figure it out (i'm a licenced electrician). i was worried about quality and light output. I was just interested to see if anyone on the board has tried them out before. just to compare the difference between the ebay and the password JDM yellow fog lights.
they look identical, but the password JDM fogs are double the price. |
Re: aftermarket TSX fog lights? (evertp1)
I have the same link the only difference with the installation of the wiring harness is they my fog lights have the push button to turn them not the switch the the install guide has so for the push button switch where do i wire that up too? http://is.rely.net/1-92-30008-l-au16...EFX98SjN8A.gif

I believe the Ebay ones are plastic lenses and the JDM password ones are made of real glass. |
Re: aftermarket TSX fog lights? (HDNBenjamin)
heres a link that should answer all of your questions.
http://www.tsxclub.com/forums/...22914 i ordered my fogs from http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW and they are working fine. the only wire issue is the wire that goes to the firewall is just a tad short so you have to extend it. shouldn't be hard since you're an electrician. and here is the installation tut. i used to install. http://www.tsxclub.com/forums/...13796 hope that helps |

Re: aftermarket TSX fog lights? (rhd_ej coupe)
Sorry to hijack this thread a little bit, but I was wondering if anyone made true yellow glass factory style fog lights. I believe the ones from password are clear glass with a yellow film on it, is that true or not?
Thanks. Modified by 97lsvtec at 11:21 PM 1/19/2008 |
Re: aftermarket TSX fog lights? (97lsvtec)
the answer is no... only JDM civics and maybe integras had yellow fogs... but for other cars, they are aftermarket, unless you own a Lexus, but then you would be on Honda Tech http://is.rely.net/1-92-30002-l-J5Zy...RHu47Ah02g.gif

FYI... if you already have the stock fog light on your TSX, all you have to do is change the fog housing to the yellow ones from ebay and screw it on, and use the stock wiring... but if you dont have the stock fogs already, then GL

Re: (evertp1)
Are the ones on ebay glass with a yellow film? If so, has anyone had problems with the film melting with halogen or HID bulbs?
Thanks. |

I just bought my TSX today, I ended up finding exactly what I was looking for, with the stock fogs and a spoiler. Where can I find the yellow lens covers? I couldn't find any for a TSX |

Don' have pics. yet...I am new on this site and will be getting pics. soon! If you give me an e-mail I can send pics. Mine is ...b_myers5@yahoo.com |
Re: aftermarket TSX fog lights? (bobstercl9)
sounds good. i was also thinking of buying some yellow tint and just tinting the outside of the glass.
|
the egay ones suck ass.....my girl got them and a week later both lenses cracked at the same time over night (rained that day) they were the real glass ones and i guess they cracked from the heat...egay ones are shitty quality
