how do you unclog windshield washer nozzles?

i just bought brand new ones from the dealer and one of the sprayers on the drivers side is already starting to sputter and just plain not work. it sucks, i drove like 30 miles to pick them up cuz neither of them worked. anything i can add to the fluid to get it clean or flowing right?

I just do it manually with a fine tipped needle. Works good as.

A high pressure hose or an air compressor would also do the trick i'd say...

There is prob something in the line that is making them clog up. First you need to take the hose off the actual squirter and run it...make sure the washer bottle is clean and you have clean fluit in it. Once you know the lines are clean then you can use high pressure air to clean out the squirter or use a needel, i used a thumb tack.

When my back one started to do that, it hardly squirted at all. So I just kept running it and eventually, presto! It worked again. I'm lazy https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif I'd probably take the squirter off and use some lime away maybe or something. Lime away might eat the plastic so try it on something else first.

yea i was thinking something that will corrode and disintegrate whatever is blocking it. but the idea about emptying the resevoir and cleaning it out is a good idea. im gonna do that first.

as posted above, check to make sure nothing is clogging your lines. If theres nothing there, I just cleared up a customers nozzles earlier today with a pick. I'm sure you could just as easily use a needle or something similar

Could you be blocking the nozzles with ice crystals?

The tip of an old guitar string works good too.
