95 Accord Lx With Rough Idle, Can't Figure It Out!

I have tried about everything to fix this except for changing the coil and distributor. Im wondering if one of the 2 are bad because as soon as you give it gas it runs good, just runs like total crap at idle. Could this possible be caused by a weak alternator?

youve checked the wires and the plugs? if so pull you dist. cap off and check the rotor, also could be an injector.

Well I would think if it was a fuel problem it wouldn't run right during acceleration. I changed the wires and plugs however the dumbass that had the car before me stripped the head of the rotor screw therefore I can't remove it. So I was just gonna pick up a dist. on ebay for cheap. Is there any way to test the injectors, besides pulling them out and turning the ignition on?

it can still run good under accel., if its stuck open its going to flood at idle and missfire, other than pulling the rail up and turning it over, you would have to have them flow tested.

My Chevrolet Cavalier had a rough idle, but ran fine at all other speeds. I got a random multiple cylinder misfire (P0300) code occasionally. It happened to be a faulty cylinder one fuel injector. It must have been leaking. So, fuel injectors can be the problem!

I may see if I can find some new injectors for a decent price. I wanna make it run right because its a good clean rust free car, and I have been considering H swapping it but I may just buy a 97-01 Prelude.

Well I scooped up a set of used injectors off ebay for $26 shipped today, so I just gotta get some new O-rings. If that doesn't fix it I guess ignition system is next.

I've been having the same problem. Wondering if you found a solution:

I've replaced my dead USDM engine with a JDB engine. Since the swap, the car has constanly been giving me misfires on all 4 cyclinders and always had a rough idle (however, only when warm). The car shakes a bit only when idling and hot. The shaking is sometimes more stronger then at other time but it only happens when the engine is hot. On the highway it runs fine, though I'm getting very bad mileage.

I've changed the:

TB, distributor,
all 4 injectors,
both O2 sensors.

I've Cleaned the EGR and Cleaned intake valves from carbon buildup,

I've checked timing belt 3 times.

I'm stumped!!!

I had this same issue before with my 94' Accord, but opposite. It had a rough idle when the motor was cold, so I replaced the IACV and fixed the issue.
