Replacing 98 Civic power window regulator?
The car already has power windows but the drivers side motor is starting to go. Is this just a simple swap type of install? I'm assuming I'd just remove any bolts/screws and slap a new one in place of the old one?

Here is a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) which shows how the window regulator is.
http://www.tegger.com/hondafaq...e.pdf You should check that the power window switch is okay before you replace the window regulator. Also, try cleaning the rubber channels with q-tips and rubber alcohol, and then apply silicone grease or spray to the rubber channels; this may help the windows go up and down easier. |
