How to pull fenders?? not roll, pull..

Is it as simple it sounds, you just grab pull? or actually loosen and jack your body lines all up, tryin to fit 15x8 -0 on an EM1

I dont get it, what are you trying to pull. Is there a dent to pull or are you trying to pull the fender off the car, what do you mean?

he means stretching the fender arch away from the body to fit his wheels.

I just rolled and stretched the rear fenders on my 93 hatch. I just used a small hammer and slowly worked the lip up into the inner fendre. Then I just kept hammering the folded lip out and pulled it out about 1/4". I did all this on bare metal while replacing the fenders. The trick to making it look right, is to run your hand over it after every few taps so make sure you are keeping it smooth. I would not try it with paint that you want to keep on the car.

when people try and roll or pull with good paint it is recomended (not by me haha) to warm the panel up with a heat gun to let the paint flex more easily. Just what I have heard but I still wouldn't try it.

I rolled the rears on my 95 civic coupe. did it with a plain hammer using light taps. Luckily I didnt have any problems with the paint!!!

Are you talking about fenders or quarter panels? If it's a quarter panel, use a body hammer and tap the pinch weld up into the wheel opening. Take your time like bailhatch said and you'll be fine.

I got one of those too....works so good, i love it...as for paint..use a heat gun and kinda heat up the areas so the paint doesn't chip off

how much is that roller, and also whats the max you can pull a fender, WITH bodywork, is an 1" or 2"s possible? I know it will cave in, but thats where bondo comes in!

You can rent fender rollers like that for as low as $50 a day.
