Re: Headlight Removal? (007 NHBP GD3)

I've never done it before, but I'm thinking it would be very similar to the civic. I would imgine there would be some plastic clips underneath the bumper, then 2 phillips screws on the sides of the bumper, a few clips on top of the bumper by the grill, and it should pull right off (There may be some clips you have to remove that hold the fender liner in place, maybe). Do this carefully so you don't scratch the bumper. Then you should have access to the 10mm bolts on the bottom that attatch the headlights and the bolts you've already removed on top and then you're done https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

best i could find... this is off a 2002 manual... im not sure if its the same but if it isnt you can tell us https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif

and yeah according to this.. step one is remove the bumper =\

and for future reference... this is the link to the manual.. it says Honda Jazz Fit Service Manual (2002 onwards).. im sure its not useless to us here in the US

Re: (JDMchris.com)

but the bumper is a bunch of clips or wha?

JDMchris.com 06-15-2007 12:50 PM

the bumper has 2 screws on each wheel well. It has 5? clips up top that you pop off with a flathead screwdriver, then theres i think 7 underneath.

It only takes me about 5 min to take off everything.

O yea, the sides of the bumper clip in to underneath the headlight, when you pull the ends it sounds like cracking clips but dont worry its just unclipping.

Why should they?

Bumper removal is about one of the easiest things to do. I can yank the front and rear in under 10 minutes.
