do you have an AEM cold air? my friend with a crx with a CAI, whistles when he steps on the gas.

do you have an aftermarket intake? some of my friends cars do that...must be the velocity of the air at a certain spot in the intake system?

do you have any sterio equipment? it might be engine noise if you do.

yeah i wouldnt wry about it happens on my friends car too sounds exactly like a turbo

if its a 96-00 DX.CX.LX then its the throttle body the way its is setup make that gay noise, my old on did till i swaped a EX manifold on it

If it's nothing bad then i guess i don't mind. I just wanted to know if it was normal or not. Seems like alot of people hear the same whistling noise.

I have a b16a2 in a 00 CX. My friend's 00 Si makes the same noise also. I don't know what causes it, but i guess it's not that bad.

not sure what causes it either, but i love the sound and is freakin loud. alot of people think i have some wierd turbo. i was driving next to a ford truck one day with a couple friends in it, and they said to pull over because they thought their power steeing pump went out on them when it was my AEM ;x haha

if it sounds like a turbo spooling up, its engine noise in your stereo. my frined just gtt a filter installed, we were dumbfounded for 2 months wondering wtf it was.
