Parking Light Fuse
 

Does anyone know where the parking light fuse is on a 96 LX Sedan? I can't seem to find it. I need to piggyback it so I can run my fog lights with just the parking lights on, instead of (the way I have it now) parking lights, head lights, and fogs. So if someone could tell me where that is located that would be excellent! Thanks!

Hey thanks a lot! Do you think running the fogs off of it will damage my alarm relay? I wouldn't want to do that!

Well this is kind of annoying. I tried to connect the fog lamps to the fuse you told me about (it was indeed correct) using a piggyback fuse deal for accessories such as fog lights and stuff. I was hoping that by doing this I would be able to run my running lights with my fogs without actually using the headlights. To no success. I don't know why it didn't work. I don't under stand it. Anyways, so I'm back to square one.
Anyone know how I can make the fogs come on with the running lights? I could just have two separate switches, but then I'd have to remember to shut off two separate switches! And eventually I want my fog lights to flash with my running lamps when I arm and disarm the alarm on my car.

I've done this on my 2008 Honda Civic with great success, but I used a relay. Use the power from the piggyback circuit, or as I did splicing onto the parking light circuit, to operate the coil of the relay. The other end of this circuit goes to ground. I then ran a fused circuit through the normally open contacts of the relay to the lights. Of course the other side of the lights will go to ground (I made a common ground for both of these circuits). The relay is one typically used and or found in the lighting equipment.

Use the park light free pin on the fuse box, just above the fuses there are 3-4 "free pins" one of them is the park light free pin, [hot when park/running lights are on] sorry you will have to test as I do not know which one it is, but you should find one that is hot at all times, one that is hot in run, [ign.2] one that is hot when park/running lights are on, [the one you need].

With that said a relay may be needed depending on amperage draw of your fog lights, in which case the park light free will be used for relay control. 94
