AT trans slipping / Po730 code - wrong gear ratio after gets warmed up

2001 Civic EX with 130,000 miles on it. Fluid flushed once at 75k. Trans slips excessivly and pulls a P0730 code. Fluid is brnt

Any hope ?

Thanks in advance

P.S. Looks like maybe a trans is in order - if so - DOes anyone have a good line on transmissions. Honda is on back order with no light in sight.

I always thought Hondas were bulletproof and have worked on many over the years - never seen a trans go out at 130k - why me ?

I have heard so many complaints about the automatic transmission in the '01 civic's its not even funny. Luckily I drive manual. By fluid burnt I assume its black or very dark? I am not a transmission expert but your guess sounds right. You could take it to a transmission repair place, and have them disassemble and reassemble it, but that will cost you loads, sorry. More will chime in don't worry.

PS. Welcome

the auto trannies in the 7thgen's were one of the crappiest ever made by honda if not THE crappiest
