how to tell if car is burning oil or running rich?
 

on my turbo crx i blew the zc so i threw in my spare SI motor.. it drives fine and stuff but after it warms up it smokes a lil here and there and the fumes smell strong. its open DP but still so was my zc and it didnt smell that strong.. i did all new gaskets on it b4 i threw it in but i didnt do rings.. the thing is im not loosin oil it just smells kinda like oil .. smoke is whitish in color.. not antifreeze either. anyway to tell? compression is like 175/175/165/175

pull ur plugs........if there a lite brown then ur good, if there dark and wet then ur running rich.... https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif
